Is it the end ?

In light of current events unfolding around the world, it would be a valid question on most lips, from small to great. The disciples in Jesus day asked the very same question in Matthew chapter 22:3 Now as He sat on the mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, " tell us, when will these things be ? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?"

Jesus unfolded the end time story revealing the signs and happenings throughout the earth and what this will look like before He returns. These signs include great and horrible pestilence, earthquakes, and wars. Great trouble befalls the earth during the wind up of the end of this age, which Luke said in 17:37 These signs indicate that the end is near.

It will be like it was in Noah's day. Jesus said in Matthew 24:37 and Luke 17:26.

Genesis 6:9 gives the account of Noah who was a righteous man who walked with God is close fellowship. He was the only man on earth it said that was holy and right before God. Can you imagine the days of Noah. No one knew what rain was, let alone this crazy man saying Judgement is coming. They laughed, jeered, mocked, and continued to trade, marry, and live life as if there was nothing or no one who was watching and holding them accountable. The gospel of Luke 17:28-36 Jesus continues to expand comparing the end time to the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built. But the day Lot went from SODOM it rained fire and brimstone from heaven destroying them all.

Not everyone who says they are a Christian is a Christian. Even amongst the Christian community you will be persecuted, and attacked for following Jesus. Mark 13:9 But watch out for yourselves, for they will deliver you up to councils... V12 Now brother will betray brother... Matthew 24:10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another and will hate one another.

There will be a great falling away from the faith, false prophets and doctrines of demons. 2 Thessalonians 2:3. 1Timothy 4:1. Paul also said in his writings, that persecution will come, especially for living a holy life 2 Timothy 3:12-13.

2 Peter 3:3 Knowing this first; that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts. 2 Timothy 3:1- 5 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:for men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather then lovers of GOD. HAVING A FORM OF GODLINESS BUT DENYING ITS POWER. AND FROM SUCH PEOPLE TURN AWAY.

So then, is it really the end? Well I believe in the light of these scriptures, we are very close. We have entered into the season of the beginning or sorrows. Its not yet the END as Jesus pointed out in Matthew 24:6-8 but the end is not yet. But You will know it close by observing these current events.

We have but a very short time left to preach the gospel like never before with power to save and bring in a mighty harvest of souls before they are lost for eternity in the lake of fire. I would attach everything you are doing form now on with an eternal perspective, and leave the things of this earth behind. Don't let the troubles of this world distract or deceive you into thinking you have all the time in the world to follow Jesus and finally surrender to His purpose on your life. Before you know it the door will be shut, and time will close on this dispensation. Join us to run this last leg of the race and pray to the Father you are thrust out into the harvest field with power to win the lost.

I pray Gods richest blessing upon you. I pray you are encouraged and awakened to the season and times we are walking in. Thank you for taking the time to read this article.

Love and blessings Pastor Kerryn.
