We are entering into a season where Praise is being restored to the church, and will be key to Gods power, miracles, wonders, signs, and the outpouring of His spirit. It has already begun, yet few have heard the sound and are stuck in the worship culture of our age. Many of us were lulled to sleep with soft beautiful sounds that rarely had any scriptural basis, to offer a false promise of entrance into the Holy of Holies, the throne room of His presence and intimacy yet never arriving. We have been left wondering where is God’s power to change our situations. Instead we have been offered a fleshly carnal lulling that satisfies our flesh, keeps us comfortable, tells us all is well and even moves our emotions. Yet we are left unchanged, unchallenged, powerless in our spirit, still full of doubt and unbelief.
Isaiah 61:11 For as the earth brings forth its bud, as the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth, so the Lord God will cause righteousness and PRAISE to spring forth before all the nations.
Praise is Gods gift to His church. Rewards are given through achievements and works, however gifts are not. Its up to you to receive this gift, open it up, and participate. Just as if you were given a flat pack shelf that requires assembly before you can enjoy its function, so is Praise. Praise is a spiritual function that requires understanding of its assembly before enjoying its benefits.
2 Chronicles 5:13 When the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord, and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and symbols and instruments of music, and praised the Lord, saying “For He is good, For His mercy endures forever,” that the house, the house of the Lord, was filled with a cloud.
A church deficient in praise is deficient in power.
John 4:24: God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.
Praise is the prerequisite, for an encounter with the ALMIGHTY. He is Spirit and we cannot approach Him through the flesh. It takes the Sacrifice of Praise that activates our spirit and moves us towards the throne room of His intimacy.
Prerequisite: A thing that is required as a prior condition for something else to happen or exist.
Hebrews 13:15 Therefore by Him, let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise.
Romans 12:1 Present your bodies a living sacrifice.
Galatians 5:17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit and the Spirit against the flesh.
Romans 8:7 because the carnal mind is enmity against God.
Praise is a spiritual function not of the flesh but of the spirit. Your flesh will argue, and fight you. Your flesh will feel uncomfortable, doesn’t want to participate. Especially if you’ve just had a conflict with a family member, or your suffering with heaviness. Sadness, depression, sickness, sin, condemnation are all lodged in the flesh and soul or our bodies. If the voice of your flesh has not been made subject to your spirit, then it will take some discipline.
1 Corninthian9:27 I discipline my body and bring it into subjection
Rom 8:13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
THE VALLEY OF BLESSING
2 Chronicles 20:1-30 Jehosophat was facing several nations rising up to make war with Gods people. The enemies were on the march and there was no possible way in the natural to win this war. Jehosophat called a fast and prayer gathering. They sought the Lord and received the strategy from one of their prophets. The morning of the battle, Jehosephat assigned the singers to march ahead of the army to battle and said to the people if they believe in God and the word of the prophets they will see the victory of the LORD.
I want you to imagine just how far they would’ve had to march, and how long it took to get to the battle field.

It was approximately 30miles before the enemies were upon them. I am just speculating, but can I suggest that they praised for more than a usual Sunday praise and worship session of 30 minutes. In fact most worship services these days include only one if any praise songs of a temp rate above heat beat. And if the average song length is 3 to 4 minutes, no wonder there is no power in our services.

When we follow God’s pathway, pattern, protocols of His kingdom, we receive the benefits of the Kingdom. God is not obligated to honor or bless your ways, He is however obligated to honour His Word.
Psalm 47:1 Oh, Clap your hands, all you peoples! SHOUT to God with the voice of triumph. Benefits of praise: Loud Shouts of adoration and song
1. PRESENCE OF GOD: Praise invokes the manifestation of His presence: the atmosphere becomes filled with His presence Psalm 22:3 TPT Yet I know that you are most holy; it’s indisputable. You are GOD-En-Thrones, surrounded with songs, living among the shouts of praise of your princely people.
2. BUILD INCREASE AND GUARD YOUR FAITH AGAINST YOUR ENEMY OF UNBELEIF: Praise guards your heart against unbelief: Philippians 4:6-7 with thanks giving make your request known to God, and His peace will guard your heart. 1 John 5:4 And this is the victory that has overcome the world our FAITH.
3. FILLED AND STRENGTHENED BY HOLY SPIRIT: Praise will bring supernatural strength and fill your insides with hope and faith to accomplish what looked like impossible situations. Romans 4:20 Did not waver in unbelief at the promise, but was strengthened in faith giving glory to God. Ephesians 5:18-19 be filled with the Spirit speaking to one another in Psalms and Hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.
4. HEAVINESS, BURDENS, and CHAINS ARE BROKEN OFF : Praise breaks the chains, and removes heaviness, and burdens. Isaiah 61:3 Garment of Praise for the spirit of heaviness… Acts 16:25 at midnight Paul and Silas who were chained and imprisoned prayed and sang praises. Immediately the chins fell off and the prison doors flung open by the supernatural power of GOD.
There is a sound coming upon the earth that all nations will hear, see and know there is a GOD in heaven. His name is Jesus Christ, the redeemer, messiah, and returning triumphant KING of KINGS and LORD of LORDs. Luke 19:37-40
Then, as He was now drawing near the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works they had seen, saying “ Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory in the highest”
And some of the Pharisees called to Him from the crowed, “Teacher, rebuke Your disciples.” But He answered and said to them, “ I tell you that if these should keep silent, the stones would immediately cry out.”
What a mighty gift God has given us through the Blood of Jesus to offer up thanks giving and praise. Our praises go up and His rain comes down into our lives.
