Water Into Wine

Ephesians 5:18 - 19 And do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.

Have you ever noticed the behaviour of a drunk? They don't seem to have any fear, talking, singing to themselves staggering this way and that.

The book of Acts chapter 2, the people accused the disciples of being drunk. Little did the people know the disciples had just received the awaited promise of being filled with the Holy Spirit. Being filled was likened to being drunk. Peter declared in Acts 2:15 they were not drunk, as it was only 9am. then boldly preached was spoken by the prophet Joel of what would happen in the last days.

Friends we are in the last of the last days, when we need more than ever to be continually filled by the Holy Spirit.

Jesus' first Miracle was water into wine documented in John chapter 2. Jesus told the servants to fill the water pots (that were set aside and used for the jewish purification) to the brim with water, draw some out and present it to the master. The water had turned to wine by the time the master had tasted it.

Ephesians 5:26 - 27 tells us that we are washed, and sanctified by the water of the Word where we will be presented without spot or wrinkle without blemish and holy.

NO WORD NO WINE.
