What to do when mistreated

You say your a Christian yet have you seen, or responded to mistreatment as a Christian?

Gods way is

Romans 12:17-19 NLT

[17] Never pay back evil with more evil. Do things in such a way that everyone can see you are honorable. [18] Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone. [19] Dear friends, never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God. For the Scriptures say, "I will take revenge; I will pay them back," says the LORD.

Taking things into your own hands turns things pear shaped and welcomes the destroyer into the situation.

You can be totally tight but 💯

Percent wrong in your delivery.. do you see someone being mistreated?? Naturally injustice will grip your heart.. is it your job to make it right?

Paul has something to say about that .. 2 Timothy 2:23-26 NLT

[23] Again I say, don't get involved in foolish, ignorant arguments that only start fights. [24] A servant of the Lord must not quarrel but must be kind to everyone, be able to teach, and be patient with difficult people. [25] GENTLY instruct those who oppose the truth. Perhaps God will change those people's hearts, and they will learn the truth. [26] Then they will come to their senses and escape from the devil's trap. For they have been held captive by him to do whatever he wants.

Seeing injustice and mistreatment stirs great emotions, and if not mature will end up saying out of our mouth things that are not GENTLE..

Imagine wrongly accusing something based on misinformation ?? Be careful at pointing the finger when you don’t have the full story. You could be mislead and unknowingly making an ungodly agreement pact with the devil to bind up that person instead of setting them free.

Ephesians 4:29 NKJV

[29] Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.

Mistreatment, from you or towards you is never acceptable in Gods eyes. Be careful how you poke His eye.. you will not go unnoticed by the one who sees all things.. as long as you keep your heart right with the Lord, He will vindicate you.

Romans 12:20 NKJV

[20] Therefore "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head."

King Saul was convinced David wanted to kill him.. He was so convinced that David was out to kill him, he killed those priests and their family who smelt of helping David… 1 Samuel 22:8,18-19 NLT

[8] Is that why you have conspired against me? For not one of you told me when my own son made a solemn pact with the son of Jesse. You're not even sorry for me. Think of it! My own son-encouraging him to kill me, as he is trying to do this very day!" [18] Then the king said to Doeg, "You do it." So Doeg the Edomite turned on them and killed them that day, eighty-five priests in all, still wearing their priestly garments. [19] Then he went to Nob, the town of the priests, and killed the priests' families-men and women, children and babies-and all the cattle, donkeys, sheep, and goats.

The problem with believing a lie, like King Saul, you’ll have others persecuting and killing off godly innocent people… I realise this is a drastic comparison yet if you only knew the spiritual dimensions of war and how the devil looks to use misinformation to divide, destroy and kill.

When you have taken on an offence, seen a supposed injustice and jumped on it without investigating you’ve released arrows that were handed to you by the enemy. The victim of your righteous judgment is now having to battle those arrows and fight against all kinds of evil.. Arrows of accusation, slander, strife, hatred, unforgiveness, depression, confusion and all manners of evil.

1 Corinthians 3:3 NKJV

[3] for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men?

You weren’t as brutal as King Saul by physically killing those you thought were wrong, no you only conspired with the devil to bind them up in chains of accusations.

This my friend is not acceptable as a Christian. Jesus said in Matthew 5:21- NKJV You have heard that it was said to those of old, 'You shall not murder, and whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.' [22] But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment.

Mistreatment is part of the fallen condition, and unavoidable.. the bible does give us hope in Psalm 34:19 NKJV Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all.

1 Peter 2:20-23 NKJV

[20] For what credit is it if, when you are beaten for your faults, you take it patiently? But when you do good and suffer, if you take it patiently, this is commendable before God. [21] For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps: [22] "Who committed no sin, Nor was deceit found in His mouth"; [23] who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously;

If you have been on the receiving end of misjudgment, the Lord hears your cry.. but make sure your mistreatment is not the result of your own doings..check with the Lord, and get His peace. He will lead guide and direct you into the truth..

John 8:32 NKJV

[32] And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

Above all things walk in love and forgiveness, you’ll keep yourself free from torment until the Vindication of the Lord arrives.

Matthew 6:15 NKJV

[15] But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
